Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Meno Reviews collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit menoreviews.com (the "Website"). We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR where they apply.
01Who we are
The Website is operated by Meno Reviews ("we", "us", "our"), which is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. You can contact us at support@menoreviews.com.
The company that operates Meno Reviews also owns some of the products featured on the Website. See our Terms of Use for our full ownership and compensation disclosure.
02Personal data we collect
The Website does not have user accounts, a shop or a checkout. We collect only the following:
- Data you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if provided) and the content of your message.
- Technical data. When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time of the visit. We also use your IP address to determine which country you are visiting from, so we can show prices in your local currency. This happens when the page loads and your IP address is not stored for this purpose.
- Analytics and advertising data. Through cookies, Google collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, clicks on links to product websites, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser details, and online identifiers. Where the law requires it, this only happens with your consent. See section 4.
We do not collect payment details. If you buy a product, you do so on the seller's own website, under that seller's terms and privacy policy.
03Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Delivering, securing and maintaining the Website | Technical data | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure, functioning website |
| Answering your questions and requests | Data you send us | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); where your request concerns a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Measuring visits and the performance of our advertising | Analytics and advertising data | Your consent where required by law, including in the UK and the EEA (Art. 6(1)(a)); otherwise our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our Website and advertising (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Complying with legal obligations and handling disputes | Any of the above, where necessary | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)); legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects for you.
04Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use the following:
- Strictly necessary. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on later visits.
- Analytics and advertising. We use the Google tag (Google Analytics and/or Google Ads), provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the Website and to measure the results of our advertising. Google may combine this data with other data it holds in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Visitors in the UK and Europe are asked for consent before any analytics or advertising cookies are placed. Visitors elsewhere can opt out at any time.
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of each page. You can also clear cookies in your browser, or use Google's ad settings and Analytics opt-out. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
The fonts on this Website are hosted on our own server; no data is sent to third parties to display them.
05Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Hosting: Netlify, Inc., which hosts and delivers the Website.
- Email: our email service provider, which stores the messages you send us.
- Analytics and advertising: Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited (see section 4).
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, to a competent authority, or to protect our rights in legal proceedings, and to a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
The Website contains links to third-party websites, including product websites. Once you leave the Website, the privacy policy of that website applies.
06International transfers
Some of our service providers (including Netlify and Google) may process personal data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data of visitors in the UK or EEA is transferred, the transfer is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, to the extent the provider is certified, or on approved standard contractual clauses.
07How long we keep data
- Emails: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Technical data: for the limited period our hosting provider retains server logs for security and operational purposes.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- data portability; and

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
09Notice for US residents
We do not sell personal information for money. If you accept advertising cookies, Google may receive information that some US state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act) treat as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of each page. You may also request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
